IT'S A GUY THING

The appearance of androgenic alopecia triggers a lot of spending on hair restoration.

The Sigma Skin brand of topical solutions targeted men of means and sold through upscale retailers like Bergdorf Goodman and Neiman Marcus in the United States, Saks Fifth Avenue in Mexico, and Harvey Nichols in the United Kingdom.

SIGMA SKIN

Text and design for web pages, packaging and catalogs to market premium cosmeceuticals for Sigma Skin, 2008 to 2014: Targeted upmarket buyers of topical preparations for hair loss, acne, aging, and similar complaints.

BOTTLES AND BOXES

Wrote short features and benefits for bottles and boxes of the Sigma Skin brand of men's cosmeceuticals — body lotion, facial moisturizer and cleanser, ash cleanser, acne gel, hair-growth spray, hair-growth shampoo and conditioner, hair-supressing aftershave, and others. This text is typical:

"Men count on Sigma’s high-grade Minoxidil Topical Spray to arrest and reverse hair loss because minoxidil is the most widely studied, prescribed, and proven ingredient to grow hair. Numerous clinical studies over three decades have found that 5% minoxidil correlates with:

•    Cessation of hair loss from the vertex of the scalp
•    Earlier and longer anagen growth by follicles
•    Increased size of hair follicles and strands

"All of this science means that men with a family history of baldness can expect to retain and regrow their hair simply by applying Sigma’s Minoxidil Topical Spray as directed. So they continue to appear younger longer."
