DYNO MERCHANDISE
Packaging, catalogs, trade shows, and point-of-purchase displays for the Dyno Merchandise brands Singer, Simplicity, Kane, and others, 1991 to 1999: Designed print materials to sell all-purpose and specialty scissors, sewing notions and patterns, school supplies, and similar commodities, via K-Mart, Publix, and other big-box distribution channels.
NEW BRANDING AND PACKAGING Designed and produced the new visual themes for the roughly 50 SKUs of Kane scissors that Dyno Merchandise took over. Shown at left is one of the all-purpose orange-handle models that come in dozens of sizes and shapes.

BRANDING AND PACKAGING Designed and produced the packaging for three lines of specialty scissors developed by Dyno Merchandise — Kitchen, Home & Office, and Barber.

FULL-LINE Documented and databased the entire Kane brand to create a flexible full-line catalog system for Dyno Merchandise and its dealers. The front cover is shown at left. The folder's inside spread, which contains the biggest-selling items, is shown below. |
CATALOG SHEETS To work with the folder system above, designed several targeted catalog sheets covering specialty lines of Kane scissors.

KANE DISPLAYS Designed several backlighted trade-show panels and printed point-of-purchase displays using the same visual themes as the new Kane packaging and catalogs.

SINGER, SIMPLICITY, Designed and produced dozens of catalogs, flyers, ads, and displays for other Dyno brands, including Singer, Simplicity, and Coats & Clark. Hundreds of SKUs included threads, needles, pins, patches, patterns, tools, and other such minutiae.
