Propelled by the
early foresight and generosity of dozens of philanthropists, thousands of small donors, and hundreds of dedicated staff members, Mount Sinai expanded quickly over 60 years, serving the rich and powerful, the old and frail, both tourists and residents alike.

 

 

 

 

 

MOUNT SINAI MEDICAL CENTER

Managed and edited the 60th-anniversary commemorative book, written by Miami's leading historian, Paul George, Ph.D, featuring rare photos gleaned from The Miami Herald, the Historical Museum of Southern Florida, and the hospital's own archives.

The book begins with the founding of Miami Beach and its first hospital for Jewish patients and physicians. In 192 pages, it covers Mount Sinai's evolution into the city's leading medical center. A few typical spreads are shown below.
